You have glimpsed a little further into the library universe, where people are very serious about trivial details and very goofy about life. In a fit of childishness, I could help but notice how many times "ASS" was written in this email. Thank you, and goodnight.

isn't it amazing? after my first month of working at a library and being terrified of making mistakes, i suddenly had a revelation that, no matter how badly i screwed up, NO ONE WOULD DIE. none of the librarians seemed aware of this fact, however. but on the plus side, none of them seem aware of things like who showers ever or who bothers to change their clothes.

Yeah, the showers and the clothes thing fr realz. Anyhow, I was afraid of making mistakes until I realized that the entire database is full of mistakes, so as long as I correct more things than I mess up, everything is cool.

The coolest thing I got was definitely that magic rings puzzle, but I already gave it away. I still like that american flag pin that says made in china on it.

Oh, Alfred is so gone. It was someone I didn't recognize at all, which is to say, it could have been anyone.

I don't know. His daughter was working here... I almost remember that they were moving out west together.
